Never Allow Anyone to Split Us!

|

“There is one nation in your land that is different. They speak a different language, and they behave differently. Get rid of them!”

These were the words of Haman, the infamous anti-Semite.

He got it right. We are ONE nation. And yes, we are different, but we are one.

It is crucial to remember our unity. We are different from the rest of the nations. But we are one family.

Some eat hummus, and some eat gefilte fish. Some complain daily, and some complain weekly. But we all come from Sinai. We all try to do as many Mitzvot as we can. And we all make mistakes. But we are ONE family.

This oneness is critical for our success. Our unity is a vehicle for our blessings.

October 7th and its aftermath reminded us that we are not a nation amongst the nations. We are a nation that stands alone.

Don’t get me wrong. We are not lonely. We have each other. We are the only ones who have existed so long, and not because of world support but despite it. We are here for one reason: because the Almighty wants us here.

Now, we are smart about it. And we welcome support that helps us. However we also know how to hang up the phone on friends who give us bad advice. We are a different nation. We stand strong, alone and united!

This unity should be kept at all times. We must never allow anyone to split us!

Unfortunately, all the headlines we see have agendas. We live in a fake world. We need to remember the fundamentals: One nation equals success! Let us not forget the spirit of unity that prevailed in the weeks and months following October 7th. That is our core.

Our strength is in our spirit.

One nation. One Torah. One G-d.

Shabbat Shalom
