Skills covered include ball handling, shooting, passing, footwork, defensive awareness, and building confidence. Players are grouped by skill level, allowing them to grow and develop at their own pace. Throughout each session, children rotate through stations and work with various coaches on different skills. The group setting is ideal for scrimmages, where competitive play is used as an opportunity for coaches to critique and teach players in real-time. Step into the exciting world of fencing with New Amsterdam Fencing Academy! Our class offers fun footwork drills, weapon control, and thrilling strategies and tactics, perfect for beginners and those refining their skills. Our dedicated coaches are here to help you reach your full potential. Embark on a fun and fulfilling fencing adventure with fencing! The coach John won a gold medal at Summer Nationals in 1999 in Team Men’s Foil and gold in Men’s Individual Foil at the 2000 Empire State Games. John trains all his coaches in NAFA curriculum. He has worked with top-level Olympian and national team fencers and coaches, from Korea, the United States, Italy, and Russia.

This course offers high-level training in performance and theater arts under the direction of a leading dramatic arts faculty member. This course will develop students’ confidence, stage presence, and collaboration through acting, singing and dancing, culminating with an end-of-year performance. Students cover the fundamentals of theatre performance and classical stage technique, such as voice, movement, and character development. Students will explore character development and performance styles from different historical periods. A revue of different scenes from classic playwrights such as Aristophanes, Shakespeare, and Moliere, as well as contemporary playwrights will be presented. The end-of-year performance will be a series of scenes and monologues from classic theatre pieces such as The Tempest, Merchant of Venice, Three Sisters, and/or Pygmalion. Kevin Gallagher taught at the Dalton School for twenty-five years where he served as a teacher and English department chair before assuming the role of primary theater instructor/director. Mr. Gallagher has directed over twenty-five productions, spanning Shakespearean classics to modern hits. At Arc Stages, he has directed and contributed to their New Play Festival, showcasing his commitment to nurturing talent and advancing theatrical innovation. He is also the creator of several new and original musicals. Kevin Gallagher is a graduate of The London Academy of Music and Dramatics Arts (LAMDA) with an MA from Hunter College (CUNY).

Clutch Sports is launching a new 5-on-5 organized basketball league. Each participant will receive a team jersey and bag. The league will feature official referees, comprehensive statistics, and a professional score clock. Our goal is to allow the boys to compete at a high level while having a good time! Players will get a jersey and a bag!
