Mid-Atlantic Mini & Junior Maccabi Games

Mark your calendar for Sunday, May 3, 2026.

The Mini and Junior Maccabi Games are a one-day sporting event for Jewish athletes ages 9-12. Athletes from the Mid-Atlantic region gather for this exciting tournament every May. These Games are modeled after the International JCC Maccabi Games® and will include an Olympic style opening ceremony and a mitzvah project benefiting a local organization.  

Athlete must be 9 years old as of August 1st, 2026 and no older than 12 years old as of August 1st, 2026

Parents and spectators can join the adventure and cheer on their athlete!

Tentative Tournament Schedule:

5:00 am – Bus departs Moise Safra Center
7:00 am – Athletes arrive in Philadelphia
8:00 am – Olympic-style opening ceremony
8:45 am – Depart to athletic venues
9:30 am – Tournaments Begin!
11:30 am – 1:30 pm – Lunch Break
1:30 pm – Competition Continues
5:00 pm – Tournament Concludes

Schedule subject to change

Last year, most parents joined us at the games and chose to drive their children home afterward rather than use the return bus. This year, we’ll be providing transportation to the games only. Parents are asked to arrange their child’s ride home after the tournament.
